Cattle Schedules for the Dairy Event and Livestock Show 2009 Now Available
2 July 2009

Cattle schedules and stall booking forms for the 2009 Dairy Event and Livestock Show taking place on the 16th and 17th September are now available.

The judging of the cattle section will take place on Wednesday 16th, as in previous years. Merial Animal Health, through the Eprinex brand, have once again agreed to sponsor the competitive cattle section, allowing us to maintain a significant prize money fund. Each animal forward is guaranteed to win £35.00 in prize money, with the Supreme Interbreed Champion collecting £1,000.00. The RABDF is also grateful to the Centre for Dairy Information who continue to administer the cattle section.

There are 238 cattle stalls available this year and once this limit is reached, either at or before the official closing date, exhibitors will be placed on a waiting list. Additionally each breed is encouraged to have a minimum of twenty stalls booked, by the official closing date, or earlier if all stalls have been reserved to guarantee their classes.
